Long story short, Charlie swept Mira off her feet after she asked him at work how to take a screenshot on her laptop, even though she (apparently) already knew how. And the rest is history. He now provides tech support for the whole family.
Mira and Charlie's love story begins, as all the classics do, with a Microsoft Teams notification. No candlelit dinner, no chance encounter in the rain, just a video call between two people, who had absolutely no idea what they were starting, while working in their pajamas.

For two years, they did what colleagues do: worked late, traded drafts, argued over the finer points of client files, from ground beef labelling to teacher rights. Classic workplace-romance denial. By 2023, they'd run out of excuses and started dating.

In 2024, they moved in together in Charlie's apartment, which was already home to two huskies and their fur, which occupied every square inch of the place. Mira traveled light. Lighter than she'd planned, really. And while she never said she minded, she also never quite stopped mentioning the things she'd left behind in storage.

By 2025, Mira and Charlie bought a home in Ladysmith, Quebec. Mira finally had all of her things. After a campaign of hints that could generously be called subtle, the proposal finally came on the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland, which, to be fair, is exactly the kind of place that makes dragging your feet feel worth it.

In January, Mira and Charlie brought home Henry, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who has since appointed himself head of wedding operations. He is demanding, relentless, and exactly what they needed.
